A vintage 2008 Burberry Polo crafted in a striking magenta stretch cotton blend fabric, cut In a fitted feminine silhouette with softly gathered cap sleeves and a classic pointed collar. The top features a deep button placket that reveals the houses iconic nova check print on the under layer, finished with branded pearlescent buttons and the instantly recognisable embroidered knight and horse on the chest.
Dating back to 2008, this polo was released under the design director Christopher Bailey; Bailey wanted to redirect the houses design language back into luxury-wear, after the enamels rise in the visibility of Burberrys iconic pattern in the early 2000s. The house began using nova check in more selectively, using it as a subtle signature rather than an overall motif.
