Chloe Ethel Satchel in a striking supple, metallic leather with a luminous gold finish. Its relaxed, voluminous and slightly rounded silhouette is contrasted with oversized squared hardware, balancing the soft and feminine feel with unique and unconventional detailing. The bag also features dual rolled reinforced handles, tonal piping, a detatcha full length oversized zip and the houses classic leather branded tab.
The Ethel is one of more understated, yet still iconic bags from Chloe; Designed in 2009, during the Hannah MacGibbon era the Ethel signified a major transition from the house. MacGibbon used the statement elements of the cult bag the Paddington, using standout hardware, bohemian design language and minimal branding to create something that felt more softened and simplified.
