A Louis Vuitton Mini Lin Lucille PM bag, rendered the houses slate grey Mini Lin monogram textured canvas. The structured east-west silhouette is framed by contrasting deep navy leather panelling and canvas/leather extended dual handles; the bag is accented by polished gold-toned hardware, engraved rivets and the houses iconic padlock zip pull. Finished with a full length zip closure, tonal top stitching, an exterior zip pocket and an exterior D ring.
The Mini Lin line emerged out of the Marc Jacob’s era at the house, a period defined by playful reworking of the houses most iconic design features. The Mini Lin canvas was intended to be the more youthful, playful and characterful take on the original monogram canvas; bags like the Lucille PM reflect the 2000s desire for recognisable high fashion items while moving away of the rigidity associated with luxury at the time.
